Ephesians 4:11-13 states:
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets,
some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body
of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith
and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining
to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
A
note from Danna:
I consider my role as a speaker and
teacher both an honor and a responsibility. As such, I believe
it is important to share my statement of faith.
I
believe there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons—Father,
Son and Holy Spirit.
I believe the entire Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is
the inspired Word of God. It is the final and sole authority
for all Christian life and practice.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son.
I
believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ,
apart from human merit, works or ceremonies.
I believe that the church is the spiritual body of which Christ
is the head, both eternally and functionally.
I
believe the Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim
the gospel throughout the world and to disciple men and women
of every nation.
